Our portfolio of consulting projects range from site selection to analysis of legal advice on logistics matters to analysis of complete transportation management systems. The successes we have had with clients in customized logistics programs, the positive feedback we receive as a result of our in-house training seminars, and the rate negotiation successes we have worked together on with many, if not all core carriers, we believe provide you with true value. Our analytical staff is expert in Freight Rate Negotiations & Analysis. We do this every day, with carriers in all modes of transportation. We are in a unique position because of our knowledge of freight rate structures and the fact that we represent clients large and small in all types of businesses, we are able to analyze and benchmark various rate proposal offerings to ensure our clients the maximum savings benefit. Some recent successes involve our negotiations for a manufacturer with Fed Ex, resulting in savings of over $150,000 annually. Another example is a manufacturer where our negotiations with UPS yielded $90,000 in annual savings and $192,000 in annual savings with six different LTL carriers. Contract Expertise is a particularly strong suit for ICC. We have been negotiating contracts with freight carriers since the early days of deregulation. Our contracts have protected our clients by eliminating balance due charges, and stabilizing freight rates over extended periods. Our Supplier Chargeback Programs have allowed our clients to recover excessive freight expenses from their suppliers for non-compliance with standard routing instructions. As our clients businesses have grown in the global marketplace, we have worked with them on a number of projects. Recently we concluded that one of our clients could save tens of thousands of dollars annually by entering into a shared service relationship with UPS Worldwide Logistics. Thanks to the input of our international specialists. ICC files Freight Loss and Damage Claim for many of our clients. Our understanding of claims and liability issues allows us to collect claims that might otherwise have gone unpaid. We also provide Education/Training programs for many of our clients and their employees. |
