The major parcel carriers guarantee certain services. If delivery is not made within the service guarantee time, the shipper is entitled to a refund. These refunds are not automatically refunded, however-they need to be identified and claims filed for recovery.

Currently ICC recovers for our shipper clients, refunds for service failures incurred by both Federal Express and UPS. We obtain refunds for service failures for Guaranteed Delivery Services. ICC's expertise has shown that in some cases refunds could be obtained on as much as 20% of the shipments.
